Mr. Wermager has worked exclusively in family law since his graduation from law school, wherein he earned highest honors and was a Summa Cum Laude Law School Graduate (ranking 8th in a class of 235).
Mr. Wermager also holds a B.S. in elementary education, where he achieved the highest honors ranking of Summa Cum Laude as an undergraduate as well.
Mr. Wermager was born and raised in Minnesota, moved to Arizona more than a decade ago and now calls Arizona home.
He taught 3rd Grade in the East Valley prior to going to law school.
He's an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hiking, 4 wheeling, snowmobiling and camping.
Based on Mr. Wermager’s background of working in the Family Courts, mediating family law disputes and working with young children, Mr. Wermager has an in-depth understanding of how to facilitate the least stressful and most beneficial divorce and/or family law resolution for families with or without children.
Mr. Wermager has sat on both sides of the aisle, so to speak, in that he has been through the Maricopa County Family Court system, both as a parent and as an attorney.
Mr. Wermager won custody of his daughter through the Court system and has raised her since she was very young.
He truly understands the stresses, pressures, and fears that you are feeling regarding a family law matter.
He believes that mediation is a far superior way to resolve family law disputes in most cases and wishes that years ago that he had been able to partake of such services, rather than hiring counsel and fighting through the Court system for custody of his own daughter.
